Pay & Perks

• Entry Grade: Appointees will be placed in the entry level of NG-2 Grade.
• Basic Pay: Starting basic pay of ₹26,500/- per month in the pay scale of ₹26,500 – ₹34,000.
• Allowances: In addition to Basic Pay, Industrial pattern Dearness Allowance (DA) and other applicable allowances/benefits will be paid as per BPCL rules.
• Pay Protection: Candidates joining through “Proper Channel” from other CPSUs/PSUs, Central/State Government, or Autonomous Bodies under GoI can get basic pay protection up to the maximum of NG-2 grade (₹34,000/-).

1. Educational Qualifications

• Prescribed Qualification: Candidates must hold a full-time regular Diploma in Engineering approved by AICTE in the relevant stream.
• Minimum Aggregate Marks:
  • GEN / EWS / OBC (NCL): Minimum 60% aggregate marks.
  • SC / ST / PwBD: Minimum 50% aggregate marks (against reserved vacancies).

Important Rules on Qualifications:

Selection Process

The selection process comprises three distinct stages:

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours)

• Total Questions: 100 Objective Multiple Choice Questions (1 mark each)

Stage 3: Pre-Employment Medical Examination
