Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

To be eligible for the Junior Research Fellow position at IIT Roorkee, candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements and qualification standards:

• Educational Qualifications: B.Tech. / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physics Engineering, or Applied Physics Engineering.
• Academic Performance Requirement: Minimum CGPA of 7.0/10 or 70% marks.
• National Examination Requirement: A valid GATE scorecard is mandatory.
• Job Description & Desired Skills: Knowledge of semiconductor devices, RRAM/emerging memories, VLSI, device fabrication, neuromorphic computing, SNNs, or proficiency in Python/MATLAB and data analysis.
• Reservation Policy: Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.

Salary and Emoluments
