UPSC has released the complete exam schedule for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2026, set to be held from 22nd to 29th November 2026 across two daily shifts.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the detailed time table for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2026. Candidates who qualified for the IFS Mains stage can now plan their final preparation according to the announced session timings and subject distribution.
The examination will commence on 22nd November 2026 and conclude on 29th November 2026, conducted across two daily shifts.

Important Exam Day Guidelines
- Reporting Time: Candidates should report to the examination center at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to the commencement of each session.
- Shift Duration: Each session lasts for exactly 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Admit Card & ID Proof: It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the e-Admit Card along with the original photo identity card specified during application submission.
- Rest Day: Note that Tuesday, 24th November 2026, is a Gazetted Holiday with no exams scheduled.
