Eligibility Criteria

Criteria Category	Prescribed Requirements
Nationality	• Citizen of India, or • Subject of Nepal, or • Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intention of permanently settling in India. (Eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India required, except for Gorkha subjects of Nepal).
Age Limit (as on 01 Jul 2027)	20 to 27 years (Born between 01 July 2000 and 30 June 2007, both dates inclusive). Only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary School Examination Certificate will be accepted.
Marital Status	Unmarried Male Candidates only. Marriage is prohibited during training and subsequent to application submission. Any violation leads to discharge and recovery of training expenses.
Educational Qualification	• B.E. / B.Tech in notified engineering disciplines, OR • M.Sc in Computer Science. Degrees must be from an Indian institution/university recognized under UGC/AICTE/IIT/NITSER/IIIT Acts. Foreign degrees are not eligible.
Conditions for Final Year Students	• Permitted to apply provided they submit proof of passing with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 July 2027 to TGC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. • Must produce original Degree Certificate within 12 weeks of training commencement. • Candidates whose final results are declared after 01 July 2027 are ineligible.

Selection Procedure
