SSC JE & IMD Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 1,748 Vacancies
Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for 1,748 Junior Engineer and Scientific Assistant vacancies across central departments. Eligible engineering diploma, degree, and science graduates can apply online until September 22, 2026.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment notice for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) Examination, 2026. This drive also recruits for Scientific Assistant in the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and Junior Engineer (Telecom) in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
All positions are Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) with a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400/-) and carry All India Service Liability (AISL).

How to Complete the Application Process
