Eligibility Criteria
1. Mandatory Educational Qualification
- Secondary Education: Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with the Biology group from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or any equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
- Professional Qualification: Must possess a 2-Year Livestock Extension Diploma from a recognized Veterinary University or Veterinary College established by law.
- Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script is required.
2. Mandatory Eligibility (PET-2025)
- Candidates must have participated in UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid scorecard issued by the commission. Candidates with zero, negative, or absolute zero scores in PET-2025 are not eligible for shortlisting.
3. Preferential Qualifications (Adhimani Arhta)
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, OR
- Obtained a ‘B’ Certificate from the National Cadet Corps (NCC), OR
- Served as Veterinary Dresser Grade-1 and Grade-2 in the Remount Veterinary Corps continuously for 15 years and passed High School with Science/Agriculture.
