Eligibility Criteria

Domicile & Priority Categories

Applications are restricted to the following candidate categories:

1. Land Loser Candidates: Candidates (or direct family members: spouse, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter) whose land was acquired for the construction of the Konkan Railway Line between Roha (Maharashtra) and Thokur (Karnataka).
2. Employment Exchange Registered Candidates: Candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, Goa, or Karnataka registered with Employment Exchanges along the KR route (Raigad, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri districts of Maharashtra; Goa State; Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada districts of Karnataka).
3. State Domicile Candidates: Candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, Goa, or Karnataka.
4. KRCL Employees: Serving KRCL employees who have completed at least 3 years of regular service.

• Exam Duration: 90 Minutes

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Track Maintainer Only

Candidates qualifying the CBT and DV for Track Maintainer must pass the PET:

• Male Candidates:
  • Lift and carry 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes (without dropping the sandbag).
  • Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one attempt.
• Female Candidates:
  • Lift and carry 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes (without dropping the sandbag).
  • Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one attempt.
