U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, a premier satellite technology centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has officially released the recruitment notification (Advt. No. URSC:03:2026) for engaging Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Commercial Practice Apprentices for the training year 2026–2027.

Eligible and interested candidates can register through the NATS Portal and complete their application via the UMANG Portal before the closing deadline.

A total of 410 Apprentice positions are open for recruitment across three main categories:

1. Graduate Apprenticeship (B.E. / B.Tech.)

• Monthly Stipend: ₹12,300/- per month
• Total Posts: 220 (SC: 31, ST: 14, OBC: 59, EWS: 22, UR: 94)
• Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in the concerned discipline from a recognized University.

Eligibility Criteria Summary

Criteria	Requirements & Guidelines
Pass-out Year	Only candidates who passed out as regular candidates in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. (Candidates passing before 2021 are not eligible).
Nationality	Only Indian Nationals can apply.
Prior Experience	Candidates who have completed/are undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere or have 1+ year job experience are ineligible.
Ineligible Courses	Holders of sandwich courses, private college degrees, short-term certificate courses, or those pursuing higher studies are not acceptable.

Selection Process

Stage	Process Details
Stage 1: Shortlisting	Candidates will be shortlisted based on aggregate academic marks/percentage in their Degree or Diploma.
Stage 2: Document Verification	Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical document verification in Bengaluru.
Stage 3: Final Panel Selection	Final merit panel will be drawn strictly on academic scores post successful document verification.
Intimation	Selected candidates will be informed exclusively via email. No TA is provided for document verification.

How to Apply

1. Enroll on NATS Portal: Go to the NATS Portal and register to obtain your Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number.
2. Link Aadhaar with Bank: Ensure your Aadhaar number is seeded with your bank account for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) stipend payments.
3. Submit Application on UMANG Portal: Access the UMANG Portal, search for URSC Apprenticeship, enter your NATS registration number, upload all required documents, and submit the online application form.
