Qualification & Experience Requirements

Essential Educational Qualifications

• Engineering Posts (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mineral, IT, Instrumentation): B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent in the respective discipline with First Class (60% aggregate marks for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 55% for SC/ST).
• Mining: B.E. / B.Tech in Mining Engineering with Second Class Mines Manager’s Certificate of Competency under MMR-1961 issued by DGMS.
• Industrial Safety: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg) / 5-year Integrated M.Tech or M.E. in Fire & Safety discipline.
• Geology: M.Sc. / M.Sc. Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology.
• Legal: Graduation in Law (LLB - 3 years duration) or equivalent.
• Security: Graduate retired from Indian Defence Services / Para Military Services (Rank not below Major/Captain or equivalent).
• Medical: MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Finance: Qualified CA/CMA or B.Com with MBA (Finance) / equivalent.
• Marketing / Sales: B.E. / B.Tech with MBA/PG Diploma in Marketing/Sales/Commercial.
• HRM: Graduate with MBA / MA / MSW / Post Graduate Degree/Diploma specializing in HR / Personnel Management / IR / Welfare.
• Rajbhasha: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a degree-level subject, or vice versa.
• Company Secretary: Passed final examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with valid membership.

Selection Process & Mode of Recruitment

1. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on eligibility, experience, and information submitted in the online application form.
2. Personal Assessment: Shortlisted candidates undergo assessment through Personal Interview, Psychometric Test, or Group Exercise (or a combination thereof). Multiple levels of interviews may be conducted if the applicant pool is large.
3. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted by IREL medical officers.
4. Verification: Appointment is subject to verification of Original Certificates, Character & Antecedents, and Special Verification.
