Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh has officially released a recruitment notification (Advertisement No. GIMS/2026/Manpower/NT-03/10 dated 09/08/2026) for the post of Staff Nurse. Direct recruitment to these 100 non-teaching posts will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

Candidates must meet all educational qualifications by the last date of application submission (07/09/2026):

• B.Sc. Nursing (4-year course) from an Indian Nursing Council / State Medical Faculty recognized Institute or University. OR
• B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) (2-year course) from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University. AND
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.

OR

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (G.N.M.) from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Board / Council / Institute. AND
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council. AND
• Minimum 02 years of work experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital obtained after acquiring the educational qualification.

Upper Age Relaxation

• Mode of Exam: Online Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Total Marks: 100 Marks
• Language/Medium: Bilingual (Hindi and English). In case of any dispute, the English version will be treated as final.
• Weightage: 80% Theoretical Knowledge & 20% Practical Knowledge
• Negative Marking: 1/4 (0.25 mark) will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No negative marking for unanswered questions.
