The written competitive examination will be conducted across various designated exam centers in Bihar as per the following schedule:

How to Download BPSSC Home Guard Admit Card 2026
The e-Admit Cards for the written exam will be available on the official BPSSC portal from July 21, 2026. Follow these simple steps to download your hall ticket:
- Visit the official website of BPSSC at
https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in. - Click on the “Home Guard” tab on the homepage.
- Find and click on the link for “Download E-Admit Card for Written Examination of Commandant Instructor (Advt. No. 06/2026)”.
- Enter your Registration ID / Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth.
- Download your e-Admit Card and take a clear printout for the exam day.
Note: Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post.
Important Documents Required at Exam Center
On the day of the examination, candidates must bring the following documents to the exam hall:

Crucial OMR Sheet Instructions & Exam Guidelines
BPSSC has published a specimen copy of the OMR Answer Sheet on its official portal to help candidates avoid common errors that lead to disqualification.
Key Instructions for OMR Filling:
- Pen Type: Use Blue or Black Ballpoint Pen ONLY. Gel pens and pencils are strictly prohibited.
- Two-Part OMR Sheet: The OMR sheet consists of two copies (Original and Duplicate). Do NOT try to separate or detach them.
- Mandatory Fields:
- Correctly fill in your Roll Number and Question Booklet Number.
- Write the mandatory Paragraph in your own running handwriting (Hindi or English) as given in the question booklet.
- Put your Signature at the designated box (Item No. 3).
- Consequences of Errors: Any error or incorrect entry in Roll Number, Booklet Number, Handwriting Paragraph, or Signature will result in immediate disqualification and rejection of the OMR sheet.
- Seating Arrangement: Candidates must sit strictly at the seat allocated according to the Roll Number sticker containing their Name, Photograph, and Roll Number. Sitting in an incorrect seat will result in cancellation of candidature.
- Prohibited Items: No electronic devices, calculators, mobile phones, or additional papers/stray marks on the OMR sheet are permitted.
