AIIMS NORCET 11 Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy one of the following educational qualifications:

Option 1

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
• OR
• Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Institute or University.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized Institute/Board.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the essential qualification.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 will be conducted through a two-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification by the respective participating AIIMS/Institute.

Experience Requirement

The experience requirement depends on the educational qualification.

For B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Candidates

• Candidates must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

For GNM Candidates

Candidates possessing a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) must have:

• Registration as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a 50-bedded or larger hospital after obtaining the essential qualification and completing registration.
